One of the Most Modern Facilities in North America
Now operational, the Galv-Éco facility represents a new generation of hot-dip galvanizing facilities.
Highly automated and fully computerized, this 155,000 sq. ft. facility has the capacity to galvanize up to 50,000 tons of steel per year.
Its exceptionally large zinc bath, measuring 18 metres long, 2.2 metres wide, and 3.8 metres deep, is one of the largest in Canada. Combined with a lifting capacity of up to 20 tonnes, it can accommodate everything from small parts to very large steel components.

The facility’s technology and automation enable rigorous control throughout every stage of the process, along with complete traceability, ensuring uniform, durable galvanizing that meets applicable ASTM standards.
For our clients, this means one thing: exceptional and consistent galvanizing quality, regardless of the scale of the project.
Our technical team can also get involved early in the process to assess components and their design for galvanizing, particularly with regard to venting requirements, immersion orientation, and technical feasibility.

More Sustainable Galvanizing
Environmental performance is an integral part of Galv-Éco’s design, which is why we have made them our partner of choice.
The facility uses forest biomass to meet its energy needs and hydroelectricity to heat the galvanizing process, an approach that significantly reduces its carbon footprint compared with traditional processes powered by fossil fuels.
This new generation of facilities combines industrial performance, galvanizing quality, and environmental responsibility without compromising capacity or lead times.
